Air cooled condensers (ACCs) are used in processes where high-volume, low-pressure water vapor needs to condense and return to the process cycle. The design of these converters is generally based on oval tubes; However, various types of design and construction are based on circular tubes.

The bundle tubes are located at a normal angle of sixty degrees on the fan and heat transfer is done by blowing air from the fan (Forced type). Large fans and motors (compared to cool air conditioners) and the use of gearboxes in transmission systems are other features of these converters
